Superb

lovely, cool and comfortable but...

Liked: the staff is competent and friendly. the rooms are generously scaled with great lighting and a really nice bathroom. it was impeccably clean. the design is unusual and cool. when a small problem occurred, someone came right away. the tv is the largest screen i’ve seen in a hotel which is really nice though i didn’t watch it. the room had a sofa/divan thing but only because i asked for a king bed in the “two queen” room.
Disliked: the mercer in NYC is my standard for this kind of price even if the mercer is a bit more expensive…and it beats this hotel on all dimensions, especially price value. i get up early and like to be able to get a good cup of coffee, latte or whatever without walking to starbucks. i don’t want to make my own with an unfamiliar pod and “coffee mate” as the “dairy”. it’s past covid…basic room service even if just for coffee and a roll is my standard. the small restaurant where you might have breakfast is too small for the number of people staying. and sorry, i don’t want pumps for soap and shampoo. it’s unsanitary. (think about it) it’s not about the planet people…you can put water in a cardboard carton…you can put shampoo in one too…or offer dry shampoo.

Perfect location with great shuttle...

Liked: Employees are super friendly and efficient!Loved the shuttle service that would take you and drop you off within 3 miles.
Disliked: Crowded pool.

Nice hotel , little overpriced.

Liked: The Ben is a nice confortable hotel. I thinks it’s q little overpriced for the general experiencia. Although people are very nice and always there to help. My room was on the 7th floor and Saturday got a bit loud on the rooftop, so mind that when booking ask for a floor in between. We loved the cart service “Bruno” which takes you to the island and picks you back up when you need it!
Disliked: A little dark, we had a little incident on cleanness. And high floors get the rooftop sound .

We will definitely be back!

Liked: The breakfast menu has a good selection, and the coffee is good. The beds are very comfortable. Attentive staff. The hotel is centrally situated with plenty restaurants within walking distance.
