Liked: It was a very pleasant experience. Good room and dog friendly. The meals in the bar were excellent together with the cocktails.

Liked: Room size was OK. Bathroom size OK. Accessories were good but need skin care Breakfast was good but too many items with egg. What about fish or omlettes?
Disliked: Quietness of hotel.

Liked: Lovely historic building. Fabulous food in the restaurant. Comfy beds and luxury toiletries. Would stay again.
Disliked: Sometimes was a little wait at reception for a member of staff but nothing unreasonable, the staff obviously had other jobs to do not full time on reception

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. I was pleased that porridge was available as an alternative to a cooked breakfast.
Disliked: I was disappointed that, having booked a superior double room, the bathroom was tiny only allowing for a small shower over the bath with a shower curtain. The sloping ceiling was very low & close to the shower head so not suitable for anyone over 5'10". My husband hit his head several times while showering. The room was nicely furnished, but did not compensate for less-than-average shower I'm afraid. I would have classed it as a double rather than 'superior' room.
