Liked: We had a meal with relatives in the restaurant. The food was good, setting was very good - booth like table. Extensive choice and good service. Similarly, breakfast was also good. Bed was was comfortable and great quality linen. Ensuite was also excellent.
Disliked: Our room was poorly lit with drab decoration. If you're looking for a quiet break probably not the best. It is an old building without sound insulation. Also, lots of internal doors and stairways.

Liked: How understanding all the members of staff we're especially front of house
Disliked: I can not pick any fault..they went above and beyond for me and my 3 babies

Lovely pub with rooms, made...

Liked: Big car park across the road, pub with lovely restaurant below where we had a Sunday dinner. Room was big, clean and comfortable and we couldn’t hear any road noise or restaurant noise which I found surprising. Key fob system for rooms so people can’t wonder up by mistake. Central heating so we turned the radiators on when we got there and room warmed up very quickly
Disliked: Nothing everything we needed for our stay

Bar and beers/wine good, food...

Liked: Good location and car parking. Bar and restaurant area very nice.
Disliked: Room was tired, bathroom ok. Food in restaurant for dinner was average, menu read well but in reality one starter ok, one not great, mains pie looked good, but meat inside tough, 2 beans and 1 piece of tenderstem broccoli other main cod on risotto very dry.

Disliked: Towels were dirty, room clean but found a pair of tights, very poor lighting in the room

Liked: Lovely rooms. Great bathroom. Nice staff. Good food.
Disliked: No cereal, fruit, or yoghurt available at breakfast. The cooked options were good, but why no lighter options?

Liked: Nice and easy check in. Food is good.
Disliked: The room could do with a deeper clean whilst rescuing kids toys from the side of the sofa bed it was evident that it hadn't been pulled out from the wall in quite some time.
