Lovely hotel but vastly overpriced...

Liked: Facilities were good. Rooms were spacious and clean - this was the best part.
Disliked: Couldn't access the restaurant for dinner. The bar had the ambience of a stag do which was not expected for an establishment like the Belfry when attending with my family. Unlikely to book again.

Disappointing.

Liked: Quiet setting in parkland by golf course.
Disliked: Very noisy (piped pop music, families with children) — more like Disneyland than a golf resort. Dinner was choice between pricey all-you-can-eat buffet and expensive a la carte menu.

Hotel living on past reputation...

Liked: Hotel ok, pricey for what it is. Most staff really good but the bar staff in Sam’s sports bar were inattentive and disappeared rather than serve!!

Very disappointing bearing in mind...

Disliked: No heating, noisy extractor, no cold water over bath, dirty desk top

Liked: Seen better days, far too crowded and a lot of building g work going on so untidy. Pool was overcrowded and felt like a lot of people had come for a wash. Spa staff were inexperienced, won’t be returning.
