Soft bed; excellent service - they were patient and knowledgeable when I had a question; the hotel was quiet. I stayed for two nights and I will never use another hotel when traveling - this is my go to.

Rooms were decent- early pool...
Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Awful service at the bar for breakfast. Pool was closed at 10 pm so we didn’t get to use it- seems early for a weekend and only reason we booked the hotel.

It was a good stay...
Liked: Location was what we needed.
Disliked: We have an additional charges that staff could not find on the billing but holds were placed on my credit card. Plus, was charged $156 additional fees and taxes that almost doubled our room cost even after booking on the hotel’s website. Then additional $226 is pending on my card that the staff can’t determine what it’s for. Charged $100 incidentals that should get back within a few days. Just would have been nice to know all these additional fees would charged or pending on my credit card.

Fair experience. Not fancy. Not...
Liked: The room I was first checked into didn't have a safe or a luggage rack. Front desk stated to me that it did-that all the rooms had luggage racks and safes. No, this one had neither. They moved me to a room that did. It was more spacious. Liked that there was a gym. Convenient location. Bed was nice. The cleaning staff are awesome. They really do a good job. Clean hotel. Nice ladies. They are prompt.
Disliked: My reservation included parking, and I parked where I was told. The gate (every time) wouldn't open and I kept being asked to pay. The front desk kept saying--"It's because we don't offer that anymore." When I showed them their own website "parking included" was listed three times in three different locations on the website; also listed on my reservation; and they told me where to park and to come to the front desk to have something validated-- it wasn't clear really; they kind of shrugged their shoulders and said, "Wow, you definitely have a point. I can see it is included." But no one did anything to fix the situation. One person behind me when the gate would not open kept honking at me and got out of their car and started yelling at me to get out of the way. I was given a card and was supposed to email the manager. I later spoke to the manager and it was the same run around. Someone asked the other staff member if they were "okay?" after I expressed frustration about the situation and no one helping me remedy it. Uh, I wasn't yelling at anyone, just saying, "I am doing your instructions and this is happening, can someone help me?" There were also other guests parking in the structure and I didn't see them having an issue. It soured the experience because it kept happening every day. It was like no one was in charge. No one wanted to extend themselves to reach out to the other company (parking) and do anything to communicate with them. I tried to clarify if I was missing a step, or needed some kind of validation they had mentioned. No, no. Just park there. I had given my plate number and car description upon entry as the hotel requested to set up my parking (!) as they requested. I ended up having to send a copy of my reservation to the parking structure, or they were going to come after me for money after I checked out. It was ridiculous.

Disappointed
Liked: Proximity to SMU (visiting the university was the purpose of our trip). Clean and a good value. Comfy bed.
Disliked: Most of the staff were great. I ordered breakfast sent to my room. They forgot the utensils and the bacon. They brought the bacon but forgot the the utensils again. By then, my breakfast was cold and just gross. I didn’t eat breakfast. I left my newly purchased gloves in the lobby and I was hung up on twice as I tried to contact them on my way to the airport. By the time they finally took my call and admitted that they did have my gloves, I was at the airport. They said they would mail them, but I haven’t heard or seen anything. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Liked: Older but very well kept . Rest downstairs is a gem for travelers to get a decent bite . By a busy road but location is Great
