Set on Devon's Jurassic Coast Bedford Hotel is located on Sidmouth's seafront. It has individually designed rooms with flat-screen TVs limited free parking and a restaurant overlooking Lyme Bay. Rooms at the hotel are decorated in light shades and modern wallpaper. Rooms include hairdryers tea/coffee-making facilities and many have panoramic sea views some also have balconies. Cooked English breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room while the restaurant offers an international menu. Produce is sourced from the Devon area and roast dinners are available on Sundays. Sidmouth has miles of sandy beaches for guests to enjoy. Sidmouth Golf Course is a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Superb

Liked: Beautiful view of the sea from inside the room, plus from the balcony. Very comfortable bed.Good breakfast choices. Good quality food.Lovely atmosphere.
Disliked: Lack of private parking, but right next door to a public car park.

Excellent would stay again.

Liked: Room comfortable and overlooking the beach ad sea great walk in shower. Breakfast excellent great variety and quality. Evening meal satisfactory and good choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.
Disliked: TV in room quite a long way from the bed.

Liked: The staff couldn't do enough for us. All staff were exceptionally polite and helpful.
Disliked: The room above the bar and no ability to independently control the heating in the room.
