A perfect overnight stop as...

Liked: Steve and Barbara were so welcoming, the room was compact but with everything we needed - availability of hot chocolate was a real bonus on a chilly January day, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellen!
Disliked: The addition of a black out blind would be a good idea for the room we were in as the window looks out onto a road with bright street lighting. I mentioned this to Steve as a constructive suggestion not a criticism as we slept very well anyway!

Lovely hosts at comfy B&B

Liked: It was a wonderful stay at the B&B and I was impressed with the friendliness of the hosts. The breakfast was very nice with vegetarian options. It's a bit of a walk from the train station but if you don't mind it, it's not a problem at all! If you're coming by car, there's multiple spots on the premises. Moreover, the house has nice carpets throughout which gives it a very comfy atmosphere.

Disliked: I suppose it’s a matter of taste but some simple redecoration could make the hotel seem less dated.
