Would've preferred a bigger bed...

Liked: The food was exceptional! We always get 2 mains and share them, so we get to try 2 dishes each! We ordered the ribeye steak and the signature burger but unfortunately the burger was sold out, we opted for the pork belly instead and we were not disappointed. We finished every scrap, and the pavlova for desert was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic too. Amazing food! We wish we were local as we could come back! The decor of the room and the pub was very nice too, we liked the fire!
Disliked: The bed was a little small for the two of us (although we have a superking at home), but it felt a bit smaller than a double.

We arrived, we stayed, we...

Liked: Pretty location. Gorgeous pub. Loads of potential. Welcome by hotel man warm friendly
Disliked: Could not get a taxi to our local function after ringing 12 local companies. Only uber available wanting to charge over £48 for a 6.2 mile journey. Also couldn't get a taxi back for same reason. Staff in pub very un welcoming. Everything was a bother even ordering a simple pint. In the room 302 very very cold through the night. Woken around 5 am by which could only have been a team of Morris dancers in the room above, noise was relentless until 9ish. Double bed good for sleeping very close together, don't be larger people.

Perfect for my needs

Liked: Excellent breakfast, perfect location.
Disliked: My single room was ok but I would have really appreciated the inclusion of an easy chair. If the long mirror was relocated to the right of the table I reckon one could probably be fitted in next to the window?
