Lovley room

Liked: Car park was a great bonus. The room was very nice. Spacious, clean. Very comfy bed. I liked the bedside lamps were very good quality and nice touches like porcelain kettle and light up mirror in bathroom. Staff were friendly. Decent breakfast.
Disliked: Would've liked more info on breakfast times and a menu for it. Some pastries would've been nice . Might be because went off peak season but hard to find/contact staff at times. The guy cooking (lovley) also was doing check outs?

Excellent Stay in a Lovely...

Liked: We stayed in a large family room on the top floor which was great. Located in a great spot in Brecon with everything you need within walking distance. Breakfast was included and was great - lots of cold foods available as well as a Full English breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and chatty, and were helpful with any questions we had.

Not recommended.

Liked: Some of the original features.
Disliked: There didn’t appear to be anyone in charge! No entry to the front of the property. The handyman had the key and showed us to our room. The room was adequate and clean, but cold. Discovered in the morning from the chef that the heating system was waiting for an engineer to install a new valve! Apparently, the day before our arrival there had been no hot water! After an adequate breakfast we handed the key to the chef! No one else around! Definitely not worth the money. Would not stay again.

Good

Liked: Breakfast was good, Mark the Chef looked after us.-
Disliked: Bedroom was at the front on the main road - Bed was comfortable, but single glazed windows meant road noise could be heard easily.
