Liked: Rooms are very nice and the whole place has an old world charm. We were very surprised when a basket of muffins, cheese and yogurt was brought to our room for the following mornings breakfast before we turned in, as well as an invite to have a glass of brandy downstairs. It was very quiet too!
Disliked: There are stairs so I would recommend anyone with heavy luggage and mobility problems (fortunately I don’t have any!) to reserve a main floor room.Other than that - all good!

Liked: A nice place, excellent courteous staffIf you like antiques and traditional busy decorating, then you would enjoy this place.
Disliked: I was reminded as soon as I walked in the door, that I really do not like antiques and old traditional decorating. The room was cozy, but the amount of cluttered knick knacks and lack of space to put coffee, plates in the main room or toiletries in the bathroom was frustrating. Scarcity of electrical plugins, a tv that had poor reception, no streaming and a dvd player!? A generous amount of food was given to eat in the room. I find a lack of common space ( like tables and chairs) in which to eat and visit with other guests is not something that I am looking for in a B&B.
