Good location, friendly staff, but...

Liked: Location is the only good thing in this hostel, staff was friendly and responsive
Disliked: Loud and cheap AC, which didn't work for the first night and it was pretty hot inside the room. Wi-fi doesn't work at all almost all the time. The parking is an extra $20 per day. Bring your earplugs if you want to sleep up there. These cheap ACs ruin your ratings, guys.

Nice location in Waikiki but...

Liked: Nice location close to the beach
Disliked: The cleanliness of the room was poor: the mattress cover had a lot of yellow stains, the room floor was covered in dust. I have never seen the room cleaned in 5 days. The shower was dirty and full of mold on the walls.

Pros and cons

Liked: Getting to meet people from all over the world!! Love other cultures!! Most people are very friendly , of course there are some who are not. That is to be expected but for the most part, very friendly!
Disliked: Being that you have to share a room, you can’t be sure of who you will be staying with. Not everyone can be trusted. So that is a big risk. It’s a shame that some people just look for opportunities to take advantage of others. I got lucky and was roomed with really cool people!! Lots of fun and great conversations!!

A nice place for backpackers...

Liked: This is a place for Backpackers. A value proposition when other hotels around the area are much costlier.
