A lovely relaxing time

Liked: The staff were exceptionally amenable and helpful. Rooms were well appointed, with all you'd need. The hotel has lots of period features giving it character. Great views across to the IOW and nice walks along the coast straight out from the hotel. Meals were tasty and reasonable value. Breakfasts excellent with good selection of cooked and continental.
Disliked: Room was a bit too hot and old windows needed easing to aid ventilation. We just turned the rads down to achieve desired temperature.

Liked: The location to the sea, the food and some of the staff.
Disliked: The noisy bar preventing sleep in the adjacent rooms gone midnight at a weekend despite the literature saying all bar customers will leave by 11:30pm. The noise was horrendous.
