Superb

Liked: The location was good for us, and our room was spacious. The staff member we dealt with (Barry) was welcoming, friendly, informative, and helped make our stay easy and relaxed.
Disliked: The pillows could have been softer.

Cheap but just about cheerful

Liked: The staff were lovely, very welcoming.. nice breakfast
Disliked: The smell of stale air freshener.. the bathroom had really seen better days (bad crack around shower basin and flaking paint) and my bed was very hard. The rooms were clean though

Damp permeates your clothes after...

Liked: The room was overlooking a farmers field, the sunset was beautiful Room was big , well presented. Tea & coffee facilities
Disliked: Smelt strongly of damp , it stank. Had to wash everything when I got home as the smell was on all my clothes.The windows were filthy on the inside.The over head shower that was fixed, fell off the wall and hit me on the head. Causing a small laceration. Tried to ring through to a manager, but they wouldn't come to the phone. When I spoke to the staff member, they came down to the room with the chef to see the issue.I was told to leave my room or the manager wouldn't come to fix it. Put in the 'lounge area' i use that term loosely, it's got some tables and chairs in the junction of the hall way..Given a drink and was told 20 minutes later it was fixed. At no time did I see the manager, nor did I get enquiries about my head wound. The chef did knock at the room 15 minutes after and was told I had to fill out a form for their system Still haven't heard from the hotel!! Very poor service.
