A lovely hotel, superb breakfast...

Liked: Breakfast great, you can essentially order whatever you like. Room upgrade was complimentary. Beautiful setting, stunning grounds. Free parking on site. Lovely sitting rooms.Deep bath.Coffee machine and radio nice touch. Great storage in bedrooms. Sauna lovely.Gent serving at breakfast - asset to team, exceptional service. Great coffee.Cookies in room on arrival.
Disliked: Bathroom very tired and not working as it should. Shower handle came off wall and fell on my foot - ouch. Shower needs replacing as parts missing and impossible to use. Basin plug rod broken so sink could not be drained. Bathroom a little grubby in areas.Lampshades all wonky, a bit tired. Stains on headboard.Pool busy and not relaxing, 'children's swim times' (at peak times we wanted to use it) turned it into Center Parcs and it was horrible. Felt a waste to have paid for something we didn't really get to use.Slippers missing from room, had to ask. No lotion offered in bathroom, despite having lovely products. Only shampoo, conditioner and soap.Fresh milk needed in room, not UHT and room temperature.

Historic priory with beautiful secluded...

Liked: This is a charming quiet neighbourhood in Bath in a large historic building with large walled gardens to enjoy. Definitely a peaceful haven from the busy centre.

Our stay was truly wonderful....

Liked: Everything about our stay was exceptional. Cannot recommend highly enough. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was perfection, drinks and food were terrific, and the spa was wonderful.
Disliked: There is nothing to improve upon. Perfect stay.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Molly and Peter were two names to mention that provided an excellent service.
Disliked: Dinner in the evening was already by our table when we were seated allowing it to be a bit cooler than we would have liked. We suggest not serving it until seated. It was very tasty but a bit cool.
