Liked: Fabulous hotel in large grounds, which is easy walking distance to central Bath. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The garden and grounds very attractive. The swimming pool isn’t large, but it was a gorgeous Spa facility, very clean, and the pool water was delightfully warm. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: Breakfast was table service, which made it a bit slow; maybe a few things could be set up for self service, eg juice, rolls, fruit and yoghurt. The towels in the pool area weren’t removed if guests left them behind on loungers, which meant new arrivals weren’t clear which ones were available. However, they are minor things, and overall everything was practically perfect.
