Disliked: i asked for quiet room. i had street side room with a noisy trolley passing by every now and then.

Liked: The door on my room did not open/close properly. This was reported but not fixed. The TV did not work. This was reported but not fixed. The bed gave me a back spasm that I still have.

Great central location with charm

Liked: It has a certain charm and style to it, but our room was not super inviting and comfortable although it sufficed - was clean and quiet. Good location. Centrally located and walkable both to train station and French Quarter and on a streetcar line.
Disliked: The room was rather stark and basic.

Enjoyable.

Liked: Staff was very friendly. We liked the location.
Disliked: Our door to bathroom very difficult to open and close. Curtains would not close all the way.

Cool vibe, clean, and friendly....

Liked: Pool was great. Staff friendly. Very clean.
Disliked: The water in the pool was warm, and not refreshing.When I checked out, there were mini-bar charges on my bill that I didn't make.They did resolve it, though.

Exceptional location, perfect ambience and...

Liked: I loved this hotel, the ambience the atmosphere was perfect and exactly what I needed as a solo traveller. The location was perfect, it is walking distance to all the well-known places in New Orleans but far enough so you can have some peace and quiet. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I loved my room. It was super spacious, and the decor definitely fit in with the New Orleans vibes. This hotel is a gem!
