Liked: The location is super and in the heart of the city with easy access to many transportation optionsWonderful staff
Disliked: The bathrooms need renovation Hot water takes long time and water pressure is low. The staff tried to help as much as they could but I guess the facilities need upgrade

Rigid policies led to cancelled...

Liked: Brilliant location and the right Vine without being too ostentatious or touristy. Loved the food in the restaurant and the helpfulness of the staff.
Disliked: I lost my credit card and phone on the way to the hotel and unfortunately even though I had more than enough cash to cover the stay as well as incidents and offered to in the worst case scenario get a temporary magnetic stripe card like gift card, loaded with money and pay the hotel for the one night that I was there the management and the hotel was unyielding in continuing to insist that without a physical credit card present with me they would not allow me to check in, passport or not. As a result despite great first impressions I ended up having to make last minute scramble arrangements for myself at another hotel and can't comment on the hotel stay

Good location but room for...

Liked: The location is good, near the first stop of the tram, cable car. Near to lots of supermarkets and there is 2 souvenir shops just next door. The receptionist staff was always helpful, friendly. Room slightly small but ok for 1 person.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the cleaning attendant doesn’t knock on the door and just opens the door and barges in. I told her I don’t need cleaning and she did the same thing to the next room where she just opened the door and the guests was sleeping inside. I was staying in room 318 and this happened on the morning of 1nov. There was a used face towel hanging at the shower curtain bar so I am wondering if they had even changed the shower curtain! I was expecting at least some sausages or bacon how were you get continental where it’s only pastries, fruits, cereal and egg tart or boiled egg. Quite sad for breakfast. The aircon was very noisy so had to turn it off and the window was dirty from the outside. Lucky the weather was chilly otherwise the aircon noise would be a disaster.
