Lovely hotel in a great...
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Staff were very poorly trained. I don’t blame them. I blame the management. Arrival experience was awful. It’s a quirky hotel with 3 entrances. Would have been sooo easy to send an automated message on booking.com explaining that the entrance to use if you arrive by car is street X rather than street Y. And to train the valet guy that the customer is more important than his mobile phone. His attitude was positively awful to be honest. Clearly hates his job. Receptionists we’re friendly but not trained to give the right info. Breakfast service guys were really pleasant but clearly not trained properly. Not their fault. Worst management failure. 2 days into a 4 day stay I get a lovely text. « Hey how is your stay so far? » I thought..this is nice. Maybe I am wrong about the management. So I say that the hotel was lovely but that I was a bit disappointed by the arrival experience and that the shower pressure in my room was non existent(something I have never had to say of an American hotel by the way). Thinking that at least the manager might try to engage with an unhappy customer. But no. All I go was « we’re sorry to hear about that ». Really ? The manager would rather hear my thoughts on a review like this rather than asking for a quick chat !So. When it becomes a theme that the staff are poorly trained (have to exempt the cleaning staff from that comment as I did not have my room serviced during my stay) for me it is a question of poor management. This was a really clear example. Thus explaining the title of my review.

Liked: The location of this property is perfect. Also, a few nice bars and restaurants within the property.
Disliked: The rooms are a tad bit run down, but didn't affect our stay at all.

Liked: The decor.
Disliked: Everything else. Where do we start? No access to Valet because the employees where slacking off on the job and I had to park at the Palm garage. No clear entrance to the hotel very confusing and the entire hotel was extremely hot and felt sticky inside on top of that all tho the bartender was very nice he gave me meatballs from the menu that where practically frozen and it made me sick and I tried to get a snack in the hotel store and everything I saw was expired I have never really left reviews but I had to it is terrible trying to stay here it put me through so much discomfort and disappointment do better.

Disliked: $3 for a bottle of water, I booked the option that included breakfast, but no one told us how we were to get it. Then they forgot and charged us for it. The person at the front desk promptly removed the charge.
