Superb

Hogmanay enjoyable stay.

Liked: It was a good-sized room with a stunning view of the sea. The service was excellent, as was Cullen Skink, the fish and chips and full Scottish breakfast.
Disliked: We asked for a replacement light bulb , which didn't happen. One curtain was hanging off the rail, and the large bedroom window opened with a gust of wind in the middle of the night.

Lovely bar, live music, great...

Liked: The breakfast is great, the breakfast chef was proactive in making bacon sandwiches for our children who didn't get out of bed in time. The food at dinner is good quality and relatively inexpensive. I love the views and proximity to the beach and to town.
Disliked: There was a low frequency humm throughout the night in our room, only periodically switching off. It could have been an exhaust fan from an adjoining room, or something else. But I'd guess it's on for more than half the night, making it difficult to sleep.

Comfy stay with a marvellous...

Liked: Comfy room, lovely view, friendly staff. Although they play a band inside the hotel, if you wanna sleep, that’s not a problem .
Disliked: There is no lift. So if you have heavy luggage you will need help from the staff.

Practical and convenient

Liked: Location and breakfast was good , friendly staff
Disliked: Parking limited , room quite small , room cold on arrival , bar prices seemed a little high
