Good place in Cranbrook

Disliked: There is abundant free street parking from 5 PM - 9 AM. If you need parking outside those hours check the options.

Very nice. Short and sweet.

Liked: Location, staff and its a neat place to stay. The front desk person was excellent and very helpful.
Disliked: The beds are squeaky and not super comfortable.

Liked: The hotel was very accommodating to our late arrival and the person at the front desk was exceptionally nice.

Exceptional value, great decorating, friendly...

Liked: The host, Jim, is very welcoming and immediately puts one at ease. This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel, and it already feels almost like home. The rooms and the whole building, really, are well decorated so you really feel like you are staying at a classy resort. The beds are very comfortable and it is nice to have extra great seating in the room.
Disliked: The windows need replacing to double or triple glass to keep out noise from outside, albeit there wasn't too much noise this time. I would also prefer cream or milk in small containers rather than powder for my coffee, but that is just a very small issue. Also, Tim's coffee is not my favorite. I find it bitter. Next time I will try to remember to bring my own Keurig pods.
