Nice Hotel in Rome

Liked: Clean hotel close to the subway and within walking distance of many of the sights. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options and is located on the 3rd floor where you can get rooftop views of the neighborhood.

Liked: The manager was nice and welcoming and tried to provide all the needed facilities
Disliked: The rooms are a little bit old and small, but I guess this is normal in Rome

Disliked: Unfortunately dissapointed. We got completely differently looking room than the one i booked on booking.com. I spent a lot of time looking for the suitable room, I usualy have specific requirements for the layout, and dont mind paying more for the room I like. Although it’s according to booking.com rules to add the correct rooms images in the listing, I emailed the hotel 2 months before our stay to ask if we can please get the room that is fearured in the images, and they agreed, but we didnt get it unfortunately. We got a very dark room which actually made our stay deppressing. For similarly looking room I could pay less in other hotels.The hotel is very runned down.It was mostly clean, but in the bathroom the aluminium parts were with limescale and rust.The curtain was partly dettached and I asked receptionist if they could fix it. Throughout the whole stay of 6 days it was not fixed. We were in ground floor so no privacy in the evenings.The only positive was that people working there were nice, if to exclude the fact that the curtain wasnt fixed. Not sure if they misscommunicated or ignored. Cause receptionists were changing every night.
