Perfect for a short stay...

Liked: Location was perfect. Quiet at this time of year and within an easy, few minute drive to Bayfield and a short drive to Goderich. The beds and pillows were comfy. Added bottled water was a plus. Also a microwave, small fridge and coffee was available to use. Contactless check-in was easy and hosts were friendly and provided great communication.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.

Ok but I prefer Deer...

Liked: Clean, spacious, I liked that there are lounge chairs outside the room.
Disliked: Noisy! Someone kept going in & out & slamming the outside door constantly. The worst thing, which is why we will never return, is the mattress & couch are atrocious! The couch is insanely soft that you sink in & not in a good way! I already have some back pain so I couldn’t sit on it. The WORST IS THE MATTRESS. It might be ok for a young couple & if you have even the slightest back issue don’t go here. My boyfriend had the absolute worst back pain from it & he is a very fit man! He woke up in the middle of the night & could barely move. I felt horrible for him. My back was stiff as well.

Liked: The cottage was the perfect size! Roomy, bright.And the view of the lake with the sound of the waves was idyllic! Steps from the stairs to the beach, which is a gorgeous slice of heaven.

Liked: Great value for what you get. Nice secluded location surrounded by nature while not being too far from beaches.
Disliked: On site restaurant was closed, next closest food spots are going to be about 15 minutes away
