Good Standard

Liked: My Room was ready when I was Checking in at 11am already. Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi. Rooms are very spacious.
Disliked: No Cleaning twice because I left the room after 1pm. Both days the cleaning sign was still on when I got to the room. No Towels left to the door etc. No Minibar in the rooms (standard for 4 star hotel). Heater in the bathroom wasn't working.

Overall disappointed.

Liked: They gave us the €15 for the baby cot rental free of charge because the lift was not working.
Disliked: The lift was not working which was very difficult having a room on the 6th floor with a baby in a pram and a guest who has knee problems. We were never offered a room on a lower floor and wasn't offered help with getting the luggage downstairs on check-out day. There was no coffee facilities and no kettle in the room - again difficult with baby bottles etc. The rooms were not as nice as the pictures. Overall I thought it expensive for what we got.

The hotel needs a design...

Liked: There was not too much to like. It was quiet (if you don’t have a barking dog next door), and the window opened which was nice. The staff was pleasant too.
Disliked: The Property is a bit old and outdated. Typical hotel amenities were not included and available. For instance, no coffee maker in room, no mini fridge, no glassware or cups, no toiletries in the bathroom. I inquired for a spoon and cup and the staff was not able to provide one. These little things you hope a hotel can provide, the Ascot was not able to.
