Poor

Disliked: Only had street or valet parking. Paying for parking on top of room fees and "resort" fees is beyond unreasonable. Room was small. Definitely will not be staying again.

Champagne Price, Beer Deliverance

Liked: The Asbury Hotel is housed in a brick building which is a restored Salvation Army location. Valet is available as an added charge of $35 a night depending on the time of year. The lobby is not ample in size however, they make the most out of the space offering a lively atmosphere with music, seating, a small café, a pool table, and vinyls which are available for borrowing since there is a record player in the guest rooms. We did not try the record player out. Coffee and a light breakfast come with a price. The woman at the Cafe during our stay was so pleasant, and served up the best scones and the best cappuccinos. Our experience at check in was fair and great at check-out. The rooms are on the small side but given the history of the hotel, it was expected; everything was clean and it was comfortable. The location was ideal as we were attending an event at Asbury Lanes.
Disliked: Added fees for valet parking, complimentary coffee is not available and the rooms do not have a coffee maker. The hotel price is high even during low season. The service at check-in was not very friendly.
