Liked: Beautiful historical building, a lovely alternative to cookie-cutter modern hotels. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice breakfast included. We stayed in the Leonard Cohen room.

Liked: Gorgeous old hotel. Felt like stepping back in time.
Disliked: Ours was the Maya Angelo room, very simple and plain. Needs some touchups. But was kept very clean. Skip breakfast!!!! Rubber eggs and cold tatertots… enough said. Coffee was good though

Liked: The town was quaint and beautiful! We were attending a wedding at the hotel's venue across the street, so that was convenient. They were kind enough to let us know that our room was ready early, since the wedding would begin 30 minutes after check-in. I took advantage of the provided breakfast in the dining room shortly after 7 am and appreciated the quiet time. I brought a plate up to the room for my husband to have in bed.Queen room was spacious, including a loveseat and an armchair.
Disliked: The breakfast itself wasn't anything to write home about; the sausage was dry and there weren't any vegetable options.The bathroom was lacking counterspace that would've been useful for doing my hair and makeup for the wedding, but I made do. The closets have mirrors on them, but the lighting wasn't ideal although maybe I could've moved one of the lamps over to me.
