Disappointed
Liked: The mattress on the bed was firm and there was mulch to relieve my Guide Dog. There are also various restaurants close to the hotel and a Trader Joes that are in walking distance. They did fix the hot water by the morning - but that didn't help us that evening when we needed a shower.
Disliked: We arrived in the evening. I had a medical appointment the next day in Westwood and coming from Santa Barbara, we wanted to be closer to LA. When we got up to the room, the front desk attendant told us to call down if we needed anything. The phone didn't work in our room. There was only one digit of braille on the room number so it wasn't readable for me. And there was no hot water in the entire hotel because the boiler went out.

Convenient location, friendly staff.
Liked: Thr room was very spacious, comfy bed, and had fridge.
Disliked: The room had a smell, like sewer coming from the bathroom. The shower is a half wall shower with no door.

It was ok
Liked: Location, parking, staff was very nice
Disliked: Limited hot water, no shower doors, Wi-Fi went in and out, hotel did not commit to cancelling cancellation policies due to the fire although in the end they did. That would have given peace of mind at a time when people needed peace of mind.

Good hotel normally but under...
Disliked: Unfortunately there are many people there everyone seems to have multiple pets, it was very loud with dogs barking and crapping all over the floors.

The amount charged not worth...
Liked: Needed a place to stay due to power outage from the California fires.
Disliked: People out of power or displaced; looking and needing a place to stay. Hotel charged guests to park their cars on the hotel property. The lobby cafe/bistro was not open during convenient hours for guests leaving /checking in during early morning hours or early evening hours. Nowhere to purchase water or any type of drinks/snacks. Like I mentioned there was a cafe but not open during my stay. This hotel cost $250 for one night, not worth it.

Great location, comfortable room, some...
Liked: Very convenient location, in a lovely area. Lovely big bed in a spacious room. The cafe near reception was great particularly as the drinks making facilities in the room weren’t great.
Disliked: The door to the room needs better light insulation as the lights in the corridor shone through the gaps in between the door its frame all night, which kept me awake. An alternative would be to turn the lights off in the corridor at night or put motion sensors to control the lights coming on. The drinks making machine in the room was inadequate. A simple kettle for boiling water for drinks would be better.
