Exceptional

Liked: Breakfast was really nice . Atmosphere of the hotel is cozy. The guy from the reception was helping us a lot during our arrival , he did excellent work for us .
Disliked: There was too much people from other countries (Turkish, Sirian etc) in that area. Location was little bit strange but not far from the beautiful central of Utrecht approximately 10 minutes by walk .

Liked: Marvellous! I loved it! Clean, smelling good, a welcome postal card with hand written message, clean, cozy, comfortable. Great breakfast! One of the best stay in my life! Highly recommended!
Disliked: All were exceptional!

It was ok, but in...

Liked: Close to the train station
Disliked: Lacking simple things like toaster, decent iron and extension cord, tea towel, tissues, dishwashing detergent.

It was a great place...

Liked: We like everything, the location is also great. It was clean, all you need is there, it is perfect for the family. The coffee was also superb! The lift was just not functioning during our last day and they were painting the walls and no washing machine - this was the only downside.

Liked: Lovely hotel, great location, reasonably priced, super restaurant menu and very friendly staff, would recommend to friends….though a fair few “scuff” marks around the building, which is something and nothing, overall a really enjoyable stay, thanks.

I truly not recommend this...

Liked: Firstly, there was a serious miscommunication with the staff. When I tried to modify our reservation from three persons to two persons due to the sickness of my sister, they were super inflexible and tried to put us in a smaller room without any compensation. I tried to get a refund at least for the breakfast price, which was also impossible against that I signaled this request two days before our arrival. Secondly, our room was not cleaned for a while, you could see the dust everywhere, moreover the room doesn’t look even similar at all to the photos on the website, it was much smaller and much less cozier or comfortable. Thirdly, they are very strict with their rules - we arrived in time - but for instance actually at 10.00 am, they closed down the breakfast for the disappointment of some the guests. All in all, I think they are very strict with their own rules but they do not give enough value for your money. I truly not recommend this hotel, I think you can find much better for this price/value rate.

Comfortable small room

Liked: Small but pleasant room with everything to hand. The bathroom was a good size with an easy to use wetroom shower. Good to have your own front door too. The breakfasts were amazing with choice of cooked food or continental available. Great choice and beautifully presented in a lovely dining area. The whole building is gorgeous and it feels good to be in the property. Really enjoyed Utrecht too, a lovely quirky city with great shopping. The Tivoli Vrendenberg where I went to see my favourite band was amazing too. Hopefully I'll be back one day.
