With its own Mediterranean restaurant and just a minute's walk from South Kensington Underground Station The Ampersand is a cosmopolitan hotel set in a large Victorian building. The hotel also has a gym and games room. The pillared foyer has a grand staircase lit by an elegant cascading chandelier. The downstairs bar area gives a sophisticated urban feel with its exposed brick arches and a patisserie menu is available in the hotel's drawing rooms. Exceptionally perfect hotel in South...

Liked: Brilliant room, huge American king bed, incredibly comfortable pillows, remarkably attentive staff, beyond perfect location. I usually change hotels when I travel but will absolutely return to the Ampersand any time I visit London.

Overnight stay for a concert

Liked: Comfort, service and restaurant.
Disliked: Room very small but we were aware of that when booking. It was fine for one night.

Great,will be returning.

Liked: Location great for the Royal Albert Hall,also close to museums and great restaurants.The staff in the hotel restaurant were very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The housekeeping staff opening our bedroom door without consent.
