The Americus is even more elegant than pictured. The staff were pleasant. The room was clean.

Liked: Clean room and not crowded.
Disliked: Rooftop bar not open.

Check in was quick and efficient; staff was friendly; valet staff were wonderful; room was perfect; will definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Could not get the safe to work in the room.

Nice old hotel; PPL Center was one block away and many restaurants and watering holes all walkable.

Liked: Grandeur.

Liked: Beautifully restored historic hotel! The rooms are spacious, the service was excellent, the location was convenient with a walkable distance to downtown attractions. The decor was impressive and the price was reasonable. The online check-in/check-out feature was easy to use and offered easy add-ons like early check-in and late check-out for a modest fee.
Disliked: The restaurant was not open (hopefully it was just a one time staffing issue due to the pending snowstorm) and there is no onsite parking; however there are several parking garages nearby (overnight rates were between $25-30).

Beautifully Nostalgic and Comfortable

Liked: Clean and kept all of the original architecture. I felt like I walked into the early 1900s. The stay was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive.
Disliked: Nothing… everything was perfect.
