Liked: I had stayed in a wonderful place for the week in Key West, but when I extended my trip, I had low expectations for what I could get for the weekend. This find on Duval Street exceeded all my expectations.
Disliked: Well, as a Queen, I just want to throw beads off the second floor balcony from my well deserved life perch. But that is NOLA, not Key West, isn't it. So I'm really on the fence about that.

Very unhappy with my stay....

Liked: I liked that the property was on the beach. When booking I did select a room with balcony and I did not get a room with a balcony.
Disliked: The property was just okay. It is an older building, and some of the features were very dated. I had to get ready for a wedding the photos online showed big bathroom with a lot of get ready space. The sink was so small and had absolutely no counter which made getting ready really hard. Some of my makeup got wet from the sink which was really frustrating. Also the unit only had window units as air systems. Our unit in our room was so loud and screeched all night long. It sounds like something was inside of it or something loose, it was so loud and kept making clunky noises that I got a headache and couldn’t sleep all night long. I reported this to the front desk and was super unhappy. Nothing was done and I reached out to customer service chat and email and no response as of yet. I am going to call the number here in a bit. I am requesting a partial refund and definitely feel upset with my visit. I would not recommend this facility or come back to visit. It’s a shame I paid 350 for one night and it wasn’t anything as advertised.

Liked: My room with its ocean views was wonderful, the front desk was very accommodating. The restaurant was very nice
Disliked: Could use a little sprucing up and a bit more regularized house cleaning

Liked: Nothing other than the location.
Disliked: The toilet was running the entire time we were there. We reported it to the front desk and she texted maintenance. No one ever responded. There is black mold in the shower. The entire area was not clean. Sketchy people there. Felt marginally safe.

Exceptional

Liked: We appreciated the quaint, novel, nostalgic, elegant, and just plain nice all around.
