Disliked: We experienced a $952 theft of funds from our Amex Business gift card shortly after presenting the card to the desk clerk at check-in. We ultimately had pay using our personal credit card. When we asked to speak with Manager and Hotel security were were told there were no managers or hotel security personnel on duty during weekends. YGTBKM

Very poor management

Liked: The room was adjoining to my friend's room. The building is old, which I don't mind. The heating system did not work well and was either very hot or very cold. The biggest problem was the excessive amount of furniture in the room. There were ottomans at the ends of both double beds in my room. They are shorter than the beds. There is no night light on the beds when you get up as there are on many hotel beds nowadays for safety. When I got up I tripped over the ottoman and flew into the wall (the rooms are crowded with furniture), hitting my head and hand on the wall very hard. I had to be taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital and was found to have a concussion. My friend informed the front desk staff and I later spoke to them after I was released from the hospital. They informed me that their manager was aware of my accident and would reach out. I waited a week, bit at no time did the manager reach out to check on my condition or follow up. I had to miss work due to the concussion. I stay in hotels around the US every month. I have never had such lack of empathy or professional followup. I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel. The location is tempting, the stay was not worth it.

Disliked: Hotel facilities sparse. Expensive restaurant often closed, no bar.
