Great Hotel

Liked: The check-in was super simple and after traveling for so long we needed super simple. The staff at the desk were always very friendly and helpful. The beds were absolutely the most comfortable beds (at a hotel) that I've ever slept on.
Disliked: There were a couple cleanliness opportunities that I came across. When we went to use the water kettle in our room it had pieces of something in it. I tried washing it out, but never felt good enough about using it. The drains in the bathroom seemed to have an odor coming from them. When we used the shower the odor wasn't as bad, but when the shower had not been in use for a while there was definitely an odor that stayed in the bathroom. None of that was obviously a deal breaker for me, but I would say that does need some attention.

Liked: I have stayed here before had a fabulous experience, its location and vibe is really nice.
Disliked: On check in we were told that breakfast was served up until 11am. We were impressed that breakfast was served to this time and paid on check-in. The next morning we went down at 1030 and were told breakfast was finished. We explained we were told 11am. The same receptionionest was on that morning that told us. We did have the breakfast but it was rushed and just totally ruined the experience. The staff were not impressed and verged on being rude to us. Very disappointing

Liked: Great reception. Excellent communication and help. We had some issue with the car park but had it sorted by a very helpful guy from Galway (I cant remember his name)
Disliked: Unfriendly bar staff, I got the worst pint of Guinness I have ever had in Dublin. It was not cooled properly and served in a warm glass. Surely you could get this right. I did not feel it was worth bringing it to the attent6ion of the hostess and when I ordered a Gin, and left the un drinkable half pint to the side of the table, she ignored it as I anticipated she would.

Great central location for exploring...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and relatively modern. The onsite cafe is great with good coffee and pastries. The location is really good for exploring the city on foot.
Disliked: The fan in the bathroom didn't work. It took a while to clean the tables in the restaurant/bar - but it was the day of the Dublin city marathon when we noticed this and the hotel was super busy.
