Liked: Full English cooked Breakfast was amazing! Fresh coffee and orange juice! Exactly what was needed
Disliked: The shower was taking ages to drain (stayed In Helena room)

Adequate

Liked: The bedrooms were clean.Warm after we found the temperature control,but freezing cold on arrival,Nice white fluffy towels & good shower & lots of hot water.Despite being on a busy road junction it was reasonably quiet.Staff were quite friendly but didn’t make you feel particularly welcome.
Disliked: Bedrooms were in a separate building & we had to go outside to get to them.The rooms were quirky & not very well arranged.Inaccessible wardrobe due to bedside table in front of the door.Only one chair at the table yet it was a family room for 4.Our friends room had a very tiny wardrobe cupboard.Their double bedroom consisted of 3 small rooms ., entrance room with fridge & tea & coffee tray ,second room with small settee & tv,third room was just big enough for a double bed .Long walk over a bridge to the nearest car park & not very close to the town centre.Breakfast was very disappointing with hard bacon & no option for brown toast.

Very good accommodation in good...

Liked: Accommodation was very good. Staff were friendly & very helpful with accessing the accommodation.
Disliked: The exterior bedroom window in Victoria room 2 is hanging off the hinge. Unable to fasten it so it swings open. Interior secondary glazing were fine but we could still hear noise from outside. We did report this & we were told that they were trying to get it repaired.Breakfast was very disappointing (included in the price). We chose poach egg on toast. Just one piece of basic white toast & 1 poached egg was served! No question asked for white or brown bread. Egg was on the toast but no butter added … it did come separately after! There was drizzles of balsamic vinegar over the plate & egg which seemed very odd. Surely two eggs & 2 slices of toast is possible for a cost of £7.95 on the menu.
