Liked: Yosemite can’t be beat. One of the most beautiful places in the world.
Disliked: Main kitchen has been undergoing seismic renovations for a couple of years. When we made reservations a few months before our trip I recall saying that the renovations would be complete prior to our visit. Alas, they weren’t. Completion date now later in 2025. Dining room evening meal was a buffet. Not my standard for fine dining.

Liked: The property was beautiful and the location was perfect! You can definitely feel the history. Being in the middle of Yosemite with so many trails right at your doorstep was great.
Disliked: I know that they are under construction and we were ok with eating the buffett and ok with paying a little more as you pay for an experience but I do feel as thought the price they charge for the buffet is outrageous for the quality of the food. The food was not kept hot ( chaffers not in warmers) and not replenished quickly. It’s was definitely mediocre at best and for $60 something per person is a little steep. I would suggest lowering the price until the dining room is back up and running. We did have breakfast in the bar area and this was delicious.

Disliked: The bedroom had this smell of old carpet as if the windows have never been opened , the shower water flow was not good, expensive dinner buffet (more than 60 dollars) and a coffee bar that stops serving food at 8:30pm. Really hard to find an available slot for breakfast reserve after 8am at opentable, only a thin blanket incapable of warming us at the bedroom
