Lovely "old school" hotel in the middle of everything downtown. Gracious lobby and lovely staff at every turn. Will definitely return!

Liked: The rooms are comfortable and well appointed.
Disliked: Slowness of the elevators.

Everything was great from the time we arrived and we will be back next stay in Dallas.

Liked: Service and room were fabulous.
Disliked: Nothing.

Vintage style hotel with a lot of charm. Great location, friendly staff, and all the amenities you could need. Really enjoyed the ambience.

Liked: The bed was a little firm for me and pillows weren’t great. I woke up with a headache/neck ache but other than that I loved the overall hotel experience. The coffee place made me the wrong size coffee and my friend’s coffee was cold and the offered to make us new ones. We told them we were in a hurry to get somewhere and so they made us knew ones when we got back.

Fun and exciting, never a...

Liked: The Adolphus is fabulous. This is an annual trip to The State Fair of Texas and the Red River Shootout and look forward to it every year!
Disliked: $58 overnight valet parking price for hotel guests is unfair. It goes up every year. $40 per night is plenty and would be a fair hotel guest price.

Glad we did it, will...

Liked: The heritage and history was what attracted us. We did not mind the high cost of staying if it means preserving that. Also the staff were very attentive and courteous as would befit a classy hotel such as this.
Disliked: We had extremely noisy neighbors, kept awake our entire second night due to the party and loud TV next door. Poor sound insulation is to blame here. It is an older hotel, but it seems that more could have been done to help insulate the rooms.
