Disappointing as it nearly 150...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Do not feel it was value for money. We paid for the spa and the sauna or external whirlpool were not working. We were offered a sample of beauty products such as exfoliating cream but it didn’t make up for the cost.Tea/coffee was in rooms but no water or biscuits for coffee etc.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff were friendly and breakfast was good
Disliked: No parking told parking only for staff. 1st room was drafty and cold. Very noisy could hear everything in other room. Smell of sewage in hallway on 2nd day. Tv channels kept freezing or not tuned in no heater in bathroom or no plug for shaver in bathroom

Very poor

Liked: Clean and Modern.
Disliked: Paper thin walls, poor quality food and drink. Woken up every morning to the guests upstairs and next to us, you could literally hear what they were saying. Terrible Breakfasts and the wine list menu was misleading, what was advertised was not available.Manager Sarah was unprofessional and I witnessed her giving out to a staff member at reception on the Sunday evening, she was extremely rude to him, there are ways to speak to staff and she was unacceptable, I asked him after was all ok. She did no hide her actions towards him.

Superb

Liked: This hotel has been newly refurbished and updated. Facilities and rooms were well equipped, clean and refined. Yvonne at Reception was delightful, really warm and welcoming. Breakfast was adopted, both hot options (eggs, sausages, bacon) and continental spread was delicious. Also visited the Spa, which was incredible and surprising it was so peaceful in the centre of the city.
Disliked: Everything was lovely.
