Don’t waste your time.

Liked: The exterior of the building was lovely.
Disliked: It was a long way out of town on small back roads.The entry to the rooms is a glass door, so light from the hallway comes through, and you can hear everything!!!! None of the photos online are representative of the rooms we saw- I have stayed in better hostels.

Luxury, retreat, atmosphere, quiet, spacious....

Liked: The large rooms in our suite had wide windows and leafy views. The kitchenette was thoughtfully provisioned. The place was extremely quiet-we thought we were the only guests but there was at least a bus full of others.
Disliked: Had to do laundry in town 15 kms away.

Liked: I liked the history of the building. I enjoyed visiting the beautiful chapel on-site. The 'resort' also had a chocolatier situated in residence. Delicious Belgium chocolate. The hostess made me feel welcome and was friendly and hospitable. I appreciated this as a solo guest.
Disliked: The room I was given, close to the main door and staircase, allowed constant noise from other guests entering and exiting the hotel during the evening. The noise, particularly, coming from the occupiers one floor above it, lead to a disruptive stay. They were slamming doors, moving furniture and talking/arguing until 2am in the morning. This did not allow for a restful nights sleep.

Clean and comfortable but could...

Liked: Room was clean. Parking was good. Pleased to see a fridge, toaster and microwave. Really handy.
Disliked: Could hear every step upstairs guests took. Needs insulation or carpet with underlay. Window over the door needs to be covered as light came in all night.

Liked: Beautiful church and living space! Nice fruit trees and lovely animals!
