Liked: The room was wonderful. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The whole place was very clean.
Disliked: Dinner was only mediocre value, and the kitchen service was slow. And in our room, which was probably the best in the hotel (Room 354) the very comfortable chairs were in darkness - no reading lights!

Liked: The location's perfect for exploring the city. We've stayed before and we're never disappointed - the rooms are extremely comfortable, the bar (especially the snug) is a warm and inviting place to meet up with family and relax, the dinner is top class especially as we have some vegans in the family and there's always attractive options for them. The hotel is clearly top quality but it's not priced like the luxury chains - and the vibe is much more relaxed and friendly.
