Uncomfortable pillows

Liked: The location and general high quality of the hotel, plus the late checkout time.
Disliked: The pillows were either hard as rocks or lumpy and we barely slept because of it. You wouldn’t expect this quality of pillow at a three star, let alone a four. We asked for new ones and they were the same. The receptionist was dismissive and said that they’ve never had complaints about the pillows before. I’d be astonished if that were the case.

Great place, loved our stay

Liked: Brilliant stay, helpful people and very comfortable.Rooms were spotless, and comfortable bed, good shower and nice towels.Breakfast had great selection (and gave my sons the chance to sample haggis!). Served nice and warm and on warmed plates.Lots of nice little touches at this place which made the stay relaxing and enjoyable.Location was quiet but only a short walk to the station and the castle and centre.Totally recommend and determined to return.
Disliked: Nothing here to dislike.

Disliked: Breakfast, some pasties stale, mushrooms dried up as left out too long, breakfast fruit cocktail etc bowls not replenished (9am)
