Liked: The pool was the best part of the trip in general and "most" staff was knowledgeable, bed was comfortable
Disliked: Room was not at all as expected, missing lots of things you normally get at other locations, higher expectations for the price, stained carpets, dents on walls and bathroom not updated, issues with shower and front desk when called not very receptive to send help sooner than later until you call them back. Room had no information of any amenities in the hotel or in the surrounding area, nothing at all. Out-dated furniture and poorly decorated. For a Spa it did not feel like a Spa in your room, very low quality for the price charged. TV low quality, with no guide to follow in our downtime, had to guess what you were watching, older flat screen and remote. No breakfast included in the price and no parking included in the price, all separate. Was told they were under renovations after we were already there and expressed my disappointment, this should be stated on the website and clearly there should be a discount if getting a room that still needs a lot of work. Would not stay there again either as it's attached to a casino, we're there to relax and not hear all the noise from the casino below, not at all what we were expecting for our first time there. Website pictures deceiving as they only show rooms already done so you may not get that.

Liked: The mineral pools are definitely the highlight of the complex and main attraction. Spa services were pricy, but my spouse and I enjoyed a couples massage, which was average at best. She also had an exfoliation/body wrap session which she also found to be average. All of the staff, including at the restaurant, with the odd exception, were friendly and professional. Moose Jaw itself is a wonderful town.
Disliked: Mineral pool was closed for several hours our first evening due to over- chlorination. That wouldn't have been too bad if we could have used the hot tub in our room...but we couldn't as we made 4 calls to get someone to come fix the television in our room and we're told that someone would be up to fix it. Noone ended up coming so we had a wasted night with no mineral spa available, no hot tub in our room available, and no tv. The maid fixed the tv the next day, maintenance never did show up.The restitution the hotel offered for the "inconvenience" was 15 percent off our first night, and they said they were not even supposed to do that as we had booked through a third party.Additionally, the room, King Size Jacuzzi Suite, was very dated and in need of repairs as shown in pictures. The heat controls for the room are antiquated, and the radiator was quite loud.
