It’s OK and clean but...

Liked: Excellent location near town centre. Parking on premises. Very quiet except for church bells which I liked.
Disliked: Heating! Random times when the central system came on and off. On a very cold day we arrived at 4.00 and the room was an icebox. There are no staff at the guest house. Somewhat indifferent man on end of phone said heating comes on 4.30 so just have to wait. Went out for evening and again room was frigid. Heating came back on again around midnight. Very economical for owners but not comfortable for guests who should be able to vary the room temperature to suit.

Lovely, comfortable stay as always!

Liked: Location is always great, we've stayed here three times and always find it a lovely, comfortable nights sleep and amazing water pressure.
Disliked: No additional tea / milk facilities was a bit of a shame as we are tea fiends and got through them the first day not realising that's all we were allocated for the night stay.

Good value, clean. Would return.

Liked: The room was large and clean.
Disliked: Due to a drop in temperature outside the room was very cold and the heating did not come on until 16.30. The road noise was a little bit noisy at certain parts of the day. Could do with internal double glazing.

I wouldn’t stay again as...

Liked: Everything key coded which is sent to you via text.
Disliked: The heating went off about 10pm and turned back on about 7am. It was absolutely freezing, to the point I had to get up in the night and sleep in my coat.

Liked: easy access. No messing about. Good clear instructions by text on how to collect key and I was in the room in minutes.
Disliked: The room was absolutely freezing. I tried turning the radiator up to the max but it was barely working. the heat coming off the heater was lukewarm. I also didnt get wifi. it wasnt mentioned on the text I got and didnt see it in the room. Also there were no big towels for showering. all were available were the small ones

Disliked: The bathroom/bedroom smelt like sewage, I asked a member of staff if I could change rooms and they said it wasn’t possible. I had to sleep with the window open when it was -2 outside.
