Tarzana Inn - disappointing for...

Liked: It was clean. The TV was very large. The blackout curtains work well.
Disliked: The room had a very odd smell, which we both noticed each time we entered the room, but then didn't notice it after being in the room for a while. Vaguely similar to a car air freshener? Not sure. The bed sheets were "pilled", basically completely worn out. Need to be replaced! Not comfortable. See actual photo in this review. Lastly, the bed was booked as a king size (what I have at home), this bed seemed smaller, Maybe a queen? I didn't have a tape measure, I called the front desk but they reiterated it was for sure a king size. If you get room 206 you can tell me. I stay in a lot of hotels and this one was way overpriced, not worth $175 for one night.

Liked: Very courteous, helpful and professional staff. A most convenient location for guests and myself. And it was clean and QUIET.
