Very good

Liked: Good location, double glazing windows when closed, you couldn't hear noise from the streets.
Disliked: had to walk up a flight of stairs to hotel lobby. Hotel concierge was very helpful with our baggage.

Upset with planning of this...

Liked: The Hilton moved us to a different hotel which was nice, but we didn’t get to experience the Hilton that we had booked well in advance of our trip.
Disliked: I was upset that I booked this room far in advance of our trip and was bumped and moved to a different hotel. This was our only night in Madrid and was looking to staying here.

Liked: Staff, as noted by other reviewers, is very, very, VERY friendly, even for the spanish standards. Hotel seems to be fairly recently renovated and is well maintained, very clean. Breakfast a bit pricey, but very high quality. Baby cot seemed to be almost new. There is a EV charging station in their parking garage (charging is free, but parking is not).
Disliked: Bed mattress way too soft. Entrance into the parking garage is pretty tight. WiFi was mediocre.Not hotel’s fault, but important note: surrounding neighborhood is pretty dirty and full of homeless people.

Liked: Staff were so friendly and attentive. They made us feel so welcome and gave some excellent recommendations for things to do, areas to explore, and local restaurants. The room was comfortable and the air con was great. Amenities were lovely.
