Liked: Location and the view! Little outdoor area. Out of hours check in was excellent. They have free shovels to borrow and these were easily accessible so we didn’t need to bother anyone!So the ‘don’t’ like list seems long but don’t let this put you off, just minor inconveniences.This was great value for money to accomodate a family of 5, beautiful view out the back and pretty well equipped kitchen! Plus it is close to town and Hot Springs Beach is not too far. The free shovels and loan of the towels for the beach was a fantastic addition! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Disliked: Parking for our unit - it was the far end. Tricky to get into the spot when a car is in the spot behind. Need to reverse park on a hill and there was a jagged rockery in front that sloped away. Didn’t help it was also dark when we arrived! Luckily I am a nifty driver and we had a smallish car! Maybe line markings could help to allow adequate space for that last spot.Trying to contact staff. We went to reception 3 times during supposedly manned hours although since found out it was daylight savings so don’t know if that was our fault, however called the number given if no one there (luckily we had a local sim) and left a message. Texted, got a response asking what we needed, we responded and then never heard back?! It was a Sunday but still! Eventually a lady arrived to do the cleaning and we were able to talk to her we just wanted to borrow towels for Hot Springs Beach, which I had read somewhere that’s why I thought to ask!
