Smart accommodation excellent service which...
Liked: Small room but very clean and excellent service - close proximity to the Brompton hospital which we needed .
Disliked: Expensive for such small room but we are in London and it was so convenient for us

Perfect Location and Lovely Stay...
Liked: The location of the hotel is ideally placed for the Royal Brompton Hositial(and that was why we selected it) and it's also perfectly located to Chelsea Green, King's Road and the Museums in South Kensington. The staff at the hotel are so lovely and accommodating, where nothing was too much trouble. The staff are really caring and happy to help at all times. The rooms we had were a really decent size, with lovely, large comfortable beds and the en-suite were well appointed also an excellent size too with beautiful L'Occitane toiletries and large fluffy towels.
Disliked: The lift(thankfully there was one) was very small, really big enough to take two people squeezed in or one person and a large bag - so not ideal if you have issues with small spaces but it was needed as one of our party couldn't manage the narrow stair case to the fourth floor, where our rooms were. Hotel pillows are a huge bugbear of mine and I found them to be pretty standard and not supportive enough for me(but I am like Princess and the Pea when it comes to hotel beds and pillows - I don't blame Sydney House for my pickiness) - I always bring my own pillows, irrespective of where I stay!

Disliked: Not 4/5 star have stayed in better 3stard room was small and cramped arrived at approximately 12.30am Reception wanted to charge £45 extra although our room was ready l declined and said all we wanted to do was leave our luggage.Arrived back at hotel about 4.30pm room was freezing we sat with our coats on for 2 hours it was so cold.Contacted reception who came to the room agreed it was cold apolgised turned heating on which took until 9pm to warm the room up.paid up front when we arrived hut they wanted to take an extra £100 as a deposit incase there was any damage or in case we were purchasing any extras l refused snd said l would pay as l go.which they did not like..Very overpriced for ehat it is could have stayed at Hilton or Radisson Bleu cheaper but thought it would be nice to try s Boutque hotel for a change but has put us off trying one again

Nice hotel, good location, disappointing...
Liked: Great location. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Room was small but suppose expect that with its location.The breakfast was described as Award Winning. Whilst the vegetarian breakfast options were acceptable the full English breakfast was very disappointing. The quality of the bacon and sausage were poor and over cooked. My advice would be - stay in the hotel but look outside for breakfast options.
