Great location but poor cleanliness

Liked: The hotel is well-located , close to the city center, with friendly staff and a spacious room.
Disliked: The cleanliness was disappointing, there was dust in the room, and the bathroom was also filthy. The hairdryer was covered in dust and quite old. The building does not have a lift.

A little less blood then...

Liked: The staff were really friendly at check in and out. Always happy when we saw them and said hello. If we did request something or had a question, the managers were so pleasant to communicate with. Loved the historic feel and look of the building. You can also see the harbour bridge from the window and had a great rooftop relaxation spot.
Disliked: They give you the smallest single blanket for a queen bed, which is also super thin and not suitable for bed at all. Other bed had a super thin mattress and same single blanket which was still too small. Had asked house keeping to make up bed as sheets completely came off, but literally just dropped more towels in room, took some rubbish we left to be cleared and nothing else. In the end, we ended up with 9 towels and face washers in the bathroom. Also, got eaten alive constantly by mosquitoes.

Disliked: Very old property. No insulation at all. Seen nobody during the 3 nights stay. Meaning, no cleaning, no towels, nothing during the 3 days…

Adding a kitchenette would be...

Liked: Good location, only a 10 min bus ride into the CBD.
Disliked: Our room was quite noisy as we were upstairs from a liquor store so we received a lot of street noises and loud yells from drunk people.
