Liked: Best Spot to reach everything in Sydney City, Bondi and every possible public transport! Very clean!

Liked: Space is enough for 3 to 4 people but the room is hot.
Disliked: The share toilet and shower rooms are a bit dirty. Bathroom Floor are always wet. Not suitable for ones who have kids as the steps seems dangerous for them. Not suitable as well for those who carrying big luggages.

Disgusting and Uncomfortable
Liked: Maybe the location
Disliked: The reception was in a separate building, and the room was 200 metres away, located on the 3rd floor with no lift. The carpet felt damp, and the smell of mould and filth throughout the entire building was absolutely disgusting! The room wasn’t any better. There was no air-conditioning to cool down after carrying bags up three levels of stairs in 34-degree Sydney heat. The only thing provided was a tiny fan, and the room reeked of stale air. I didn’t even bother trying to open the windows because, as soon as I saw and smelt the room, I decided we weren’t staying there.I spoke to the manager, who agreed to give me a partial refund. Luckily, I was able to find another place with air-conditioning and everything needed for a proper stay that same night, for a similar price.I would never attempt to stay at Sydney Central Inn again.

We made the best of...
Liked: Location was very good. Close to public transport and restraunts and great shopping outlets. The admin staff was friendly. They allow you to store your luggage as required. A place to lay down after exhaustion from climing 2 flights of stairs and half flights of stairs each day.
Disliked: No top sheet provided, even after asking for it. No help in getting luggage up 2 flights of stairs, even though there is a lift the cleaners use. The kitchen was down stairs and only 2 chairs. The laundry up stairs. We had to pay extra to use the laundry services. The loud noise from hotel would shake the glass each night from 11.00 pm to 3.00. Impossible to sleep. Hotel supplied ear plugs, but didn't stay in ears and didn't help when in anyway. Shared bathroom was a bit unnerving. A boy would use the girls toilet. Lid found up (women never need to do this).... saw him trying to get into to the ladies toilets and I glared at him. Our daughter found a man staring at her as she tried to get into our room and as her hands were full from things after having a shower, she was stuck in not getting in...the man came closer, and she pannicked and took hours to be calmed down. I had to stay with her from then on for all bathroom breaks. Another thing a man wanted to get into the hotel, when he hadn't registered at the registration at another building a block away. He hadn't read the instructions on where to go. As we came in, he was getting upset as we wouldn't let him in. But he didn't have a key or room allocated. This caused us frustration in having to deal with the endless confusion others would have. The view from our room was over a empty demolished building site. No breakfast is offered or supplied. Picture of the room wasn't what we got. The picture looks better!
