Great location, clean room, and...

Liked: Great location and very clean!
Disliked: It was difficult to get the room at a consistent temperature-it was a bit stuffy. The internet was spotty too.

Great for a short stay.

Liked: The owner is a lovely person and makes you feel welcomed. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Disliked: The room was small by North American standards. It is called the Swiss Hotel and it reminds of a smallish Swiss hotel room. There are many people in dire straits wandering the streets nearby. That is because of two nearby homeless shelters.

A pleasant place to stay.

Liked: It is value for money. This hotel is clean and comfortable and well located, close to Rideau Street, the Market and the big sights in Ottawa. There are no bells and whistles, just a very clean, comfortable room, along the line of European hotels. The bathroom was small but fine with lots of places to put your belongings. Good towels!
Disliked: I am used to a small refrigerator in the room.
