The room was reasonable but...
Liked: It had off street parking close to the room.
Disliked: We could hear the noise from the neighbours and doors slamming constantly. The washing and dryer facilities were right next to our bedroom door and we were kept up until after midnight by the noise.

For the $641 stay for...
Liked: Excellent views although we were in room that looked up to road. Rooms were excellent. Lots of room .2x bedrooms with 2x bathrooms made it very comfortable.
Disliked: We couldn’t operate the lock with the key when we arrived. So took a few goes to get in. Dirty crockery. Knife had dried jam on it, so clearly not checked. No instructions on how to turn heaters on. Turns out we just had to turn on at wall at only 1x temp.Horrible pot holes on dry way. Very poor.

Best birthday stay ever! Thank...
Liked: The most breathtaking view from the apartment!
Disliked: Location is close to the town however it will take a while (approx 30mins) to walk and steep since Queenstown is a little hilly. Option to Uber for just a couple mins.

Very good
Liked: We liked the convenience of the kitchen equipment, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle which meant we could prepare breakfast for ourselves each day. It was great to have the use of the washing machine and tumble dryer in our lobby. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Everything was beautifully clean. It was great to have an allocated parking space for our rental car.
Disliked: No criticism.

An unfortunate checkin situation but...
Liked: The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom /living-kitchen-dining suite configuration was excellent and a combo which is hard to find in Queenstown. In this respect the accommodation absolutely fulfilled our requirement and, at a suitable pricepoint.
Disliked: I made extra special effort to personally inspect this property and select the particular unit booked (one of only 2 in the hotels' inventory). This was 6 months ahead of book-in date. This I double-checked with hotel one week prior. However on arrival our party was informed that the hotel had made a change to the unit booked and we were put into the second unit which did not have as nice a view as the only other unit of 2 with this dbl.bed/bath/living-kitchen configuration. Also these 2 units being outside of the hotel standard room/studio block are leased to the hotel and there is a definite difference in the furnishing. Main issue however was that Office Staff had not bothered to even make a courtesy phone prior to our arrival, to explain the booking overlap situation. I requested a meeting next day with the hotel General Manager. It was a very cordial meeting thanks to the experience of both parties in the field of hospitality and the GM apologised for the oversight of his Staff in lack of communication with the client. He also generously agreed to a discount on the room tariff for the unfortunate switch of accommodation and client disappointment.

Quite Disappointed
Liked: The fireplace, the view if you looked past the cars whizzing past your window as it is on a main road into Queenstown. Size of room was good for 2 people. Air con was quiet.
Disliked: Pictures on booking.com are deceiving. There was no stereo, just an empty spot and a cable hanging out of the hole. I asked if they had any stereos, they said use the tv for radio but tv didn't connect to wi-fi so couldn't do that either. Also missing single lounge chair that was in the pictures. BBQ was a communal bbq that you had to book and pay for. Breakfast was a rip off. $20/head for a 6 pieces of bread (frozen), crumpets(frozen), fruit, yoghurt & some juice. They didn't even top it up each day. You had to go and ask for top ups. Also had to ask for top ups of coffee capsules. People we spoke to also got their room cheaper on airbnb. Another couple got a free upgrade and were only there for 2 nights. We were there for 7.
