A favourite hotel, but a...

Liked: We've been to Blunsdon a lot and love the rooms, the location and the environment. As always the room was very comfy and clean and the gym and wellbeing facilities were great. Its a favourite place...
Disliked: The swimming pool had a problem, so was closed on the evening before we travelled, so that was disappointing but we were able to use the spa area. Food was OK, though not great in the evening. The menu really could do with a little freshening up! Breakfast was disappointing this time with poor urn coffee and stale pastries. If the food improved at the hotel, it would warrant a superb or excellent rating!

Liked: The room size was amazing and extremely well heated had the option for a bath or a shower which both worked fantastic.
Disliked: Breakfast was ok. It would off been tasty if it was warm, but it was stone cold. The pool was not in use, although they did highlight this early on with emailed communications.

Fair with some exceptions

Liked: Staff friendly
Disliked: To many kids running around in bar area and some very dubious guests. I am guessing that standards are slipping in younger guests who cannot control their offspring.

Disliked: No swimming pool. Breakfast for our son to join us was so expensive!
