Located in the heart of Arundel this grade II listed Victorian building was completely refurbished in May 2012 to combine traditional comforts with the facilities of a modern 4-star hotel. The town of Arundel is an enchanting place for you to explore. It is famous for its 12th century castle which was once the historic seat of the Duke of Norfolk the premier Dukedom of the realm. The Swan Hotel itself dates back to 1759 and is a prominent building on the High Street. The hotel's bar serving the family owned Fuller Smith & Turner Ltd Ale is popular with locals and guests alike. A large range of Real Ales and continental lagers are served. The restaurant which serves freshly prepared food daily and received a Visit Britain Breakfast Award - 2010. The menu is complimented by a wide range of quality wines from the 200 year old wine cellar.

Would definitely stay here again...

Liked: Great location, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast
Disliked: The temperature in the room was temperamental but it is an old building so understandable.

Passable

Liked: Room was lovely. Scrambled eggs were amazing.
Disliked: The television channel ITV 1 was awful intermittent signal. The shower was hopeless no pressure at all.

Liked: Breakfast is excellent, location is right in the centre of town, there's a nearby free street parking for vans (3 min walk)
Disliked: Rooms are a little on the cooler side. Restaurant does not prioritise guest reservations.

Liked: Very conveniently situated, rooms are very clean and well appointed, we ate in the restaurant and the evening meal was lovely, breakfast served by Yvonne was delicious as well!!

Recommend you stay here

Liked: The mattress was firm and comfortable, perfect for my back. Dyson fan in the room as I get really hot so that was a big bonus! Lovely selection of teas and coffees, including a coffee machine. Robes with slippers provided. Beautiful room. Great breakfast in the morning!
Disliked: Nothing!
