Liked: Conviene of location.
Disliked: Room wasn’t completely clean. There was debris all over the room and hair in the shower. Ultimately Carpets need a deep clean or eliminated in addition to a major update to the whole property. The whole place has a lot of small unfinished or half ass fixes which gives the whole place a run down look.

Disliked: We had a joining room and we could hear the neighbours .

Good

Liked: We had a cricket making a lot of noise in the room. The front desk person willingly changed rooms for us so we had a quiet night. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. ⁹
Disliked: Breakfast consisted of coffee in the room and a Danish pastry. There was no housekeeping for stays under 3 days.

Exceptional

It was centrally located.

Liked: Donuts, we don’t eat donuts!
Disliked: The hotel needs a facelift. Old worn out carpet in walkways, needs painted badly!

Liked: Cozy and the location was great.
Disliked: The bed needed to be replaced. It sank in the middle of the mattress. It felt like you were sleeping in a hammock.

Superb

Liked: I love staying at Svendgards. We stay here every time we come to Solvang. Perfect location, big rooms, and clean. The staff is always nice.
Disliked: No Coffee :( this was a huge bummer. They advertise breakfast included but had a plate of Danish (which were great and from a local bakery) but that's all and no coffee. There is little coffee packets in the room but it's awful. I wish they'd bring back fresh coffee.
