Liked: It is in the PERFECT location in the center of Solvang. It is quite quaint, with a beautiful water feature in front and half-timbered facade. You enter the lobby through a stone tower.
Disliked: The hotel is under renovation, and the walkway outside my door was plywood. There was no hot water for the shower. Sadly, I discovered this too late to call and ask it be addressed. Cold shower was the only alternative as I had not allowed for extra time. My room was listed on the second floor (27A) and all rooms seemed to overlook the pool, but when I got to the door, there was another set of stairs and a view of the side street and parking. If you want hot water and a view of the courtyard and pool, ask for it.
